BPF’s Chair, Asif Rangoonwala, Awarded CBE in King’s Honour List
The British Pakistan Foundation (BPF) is proud to announce that Asif Rangoonwala, the
Chairperson of the Foundation, has been awarded the Commander of the Order of the
British Empire (CBE) by His Majesty King Charles III in the 2024 Birthday Honours List. This
prestigious accolade recognises Mr. Rangoonwala’s exceptional services to charity and
philanthropy.
Mr. Rangoonwala, a renowned business leader and philanthropist, has significantly
contributed to the philanthropic landscape over the years. His dedicated efforts have
focused on creating positive and sustainable change within communities both in the
United Kingdom and South Asia. Mr. Rangoonwala has been instrumental in initiating and
supporting numerous projects aimed at improving the quality of life for disadvantaged
individuals, including providing scholarships for underprivileged students, funding
medical and disability facilities, and supporting community development programmes.
